![]() ![]() This was a posting from, like, 5 years ago, but I haven't seen enough improvement in their operation to change the way I have our Mac PCs work. ![]() I don't know if the posting is there still, but I saw an Adobe support rep recommend the Macs not work on network shares due to the network client issues. It is a lot better with 10.6, but there are still problems. The Mac network client isn't good enough with all the file locking. It had been my experience that you want the Mac users to copy files down to the local machine, work on them, them copy them back. (Well, they can access it, but they don't. The difference being the universal format stores the preview in the file, whereas the Mac version stores the preview in the resource fork of the file, which is inaccessible to the Windows PCs. You'll want to make sure all the artwork (EPS) uses the universal EPS format, instead of the Mac only one. I believe the Quark files themselves are interchangeable.
